I'm Mothamiri, or Amiri for short. I'm an artist, "streamer", creator of BurnOut, and full time moth!
My favorite games of all time are Omori and Deltarune... I could make a list of all my favorites, but then I'd be here forever ahah.
I am OBSESSED with 90s internet. I wasn't even around to experience it so I don't have the nostalgia some might, but there's something about it that's just so much more FUN to me than what we currently have, it has a much more chill vibe to me as well.

About this site!

Why make this website?

Honestly? I got bored. I'd been feeling burnt out with my art and streams and felt like I needed a new project. This was that project! It also worked as good practice for another site I'd like to make in the future... But there really was and still is no real "plan" for this site. I just wanted to make a little space all my own :3

Why'd you name it that?

There are two answers to this, the true answer and the one I thought of after the fact.
The latter answer is that this site essentially is a dump coated in neon. It's a place for me to haphazardly dump anything I want, but with a pretty coat of paint. Also I just like neon, it's pretty. It's like I'm a moth but specifically for cold cathode gas-discharge light.

I copy-pasted that from wikipedia I don't know what it means.

The real answer is that when I was setting the site up on neocities I didn't realize I had to name it so it's just the first thing that came to mind. But it works so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

About my characters!

I'm sure they'll all have their own pages sooner or later but for now I may as well summarize

BurnOut

BurnOut is my most developed story, and the one with the most structure. It takes place in a small town in a world of anthro moths, and centers on the lives of four characters: Cinnamon, Aurora, Ruth, and Veril.

Cinnamon is a mostly normal high school kid. He's a bit anxious, but friendly. He's "mostly normal" because he was born with powerful pyrokinesis, and has little memory of his past.
Ruth is a news reporter working for the station Atlas News. He's eccentric (maybe a bit insane) and always seems to be in a good mood. He loves his job and often does a little more than he's asked, constantly doing the job of both a news reporter and a journalist. His stories tend to be quite out there and Atlas has claimed they do not sanction everything he says... The fact of the matter is, however, what he says tends to be true.
Aurora is a self-centered, egotistical singer-songwriter. She's known worldwide for her music, but also her controversial nature. She'll do whatever she can to stay the center of attention, especially in her hometown, including harassing Cin, who has recently been talk of the town because of his powers.
Lastly is Veril. Honestly we.. Don't know much about him. Veril was a salesmoth who died long ago, and was infected by cordyceps. Nobody's really sure what to do about him, he doesn't hurt anyone and only tries to sell his fungus. Which isn't good, but at least he's polite.

These four have gotten involved in a plot which could decide the fate of their world... But it doesn't seem that any of them know exactly what it is, or that it even involves them.
BurnOut is a story built on lies.

City

This story doesn't have a name just yet, so as of right now I'm simply calling it my city story.
This one is less of a story and more of a worldbuilding project. I'm not very concerned with any overarching plot, rather I'm focusing on building a believable world with many smaller stories happening within!
The main location I've developed so far is, suprise suprise, a technologically advanced city populated by many different species. The city is run by three different leaders and as such has been split into thirds... But none of the three are exactly adored by the public. Two characters from this world who currently have designs are Pan and an unnamed fox maid! (they'll be on my art page once I finish it)
